Pre-Ballet, Jazz, Tap: This is a 45 minute introductory class for young dancers where they learn the basic positions, form and techniques of ballet dancing both in the center and across the floor. Barre work may be introduced in this class. Students also learn the upbeat and expressive style of Jazz dancing, along with the energetic rhythm of tap dancing. They will learn choreographed foot work and floor work sequences to music. This class is designed for beginner students ages 4-6.
Advanced Professional Hip Hop: A high-energy class that uses the latest sounds in rap, R&B and pop music. Hip hop encompasses movement that has elements of poppin’, locking, and breaking as well as freestyle movement to give students the opportunity to develop their own sense of style. This class is designed for Professional Dancers with many years of experience training and working in the dance industry.
Ballet I/II: This class is suitable for beginner and will cover the fundamentals of classical ballet technique. It is a more formal setting that will give students the discipline to mature as dancers. The importance of strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorization will be stressed. Basics of performing will be introduced.
Beginner Hip Hop: This class will teach the fundamentals of hip hop movement. This is an upbeat and high-energy class. Stretching, isolations, rhythms, musicality, upper body strength and funky footwork will all be incorporated. Students will learn to memorize choreography by working on a combination in each class.
Teen Hip Hop: These classes teach a fast-paced, high-energy “MTV-style” dance. After a short warm-up, class will focus on learning aerobic dance combinations done to pop and hip-hop music. Wear sneakers and be prepared to sweat!
Technical Training: Jazz Funk: This class is an awesome combination of Hip Hop and Jazz. This class will teach some of the fundamental technique of jazz dance mixed with the exciting world of today’s dance pop culture. This class promises to get students sweating, “lock and popping,” as well as pirouetting by years end! This class will also teach some of the fundamentals of jazz dance, but we will mix those fundamentals with the fun moves of today’s hottest artists.

Pop Jamz Hip Hop: This 45-minute introductory class if for young students interested in hip hop. Students also learn the upbeat and expressive style of hip hop dancing, along with the energetic rhythm. Stretching, isolations, rhythms, musicality, upper body strength and funky footwork will all be incorporated. Students will learn to memorize choreography by working on a combination to Top 40 music in each class! This class is designed for beginner students ages 4-6.
Vocal Performance: Students will learn to sing in every part of their range and to sing without straining by learning proper breathing and vocal technique. Singers will be coached on how to perform a song with proper microphone technique and learn to move on stage and create moments with their audience. Solo and group songs will be taught and performance opportunities will be offered.
Group Piano: This class is for beginner piano students and will teach the basics of keyboard and music theory in a group setting. Students will be taught how to read notes and chords and be given the opportunity to try each new concept learned on the keyboard. This class is great for all performers since the concepts learned on the piano are common to all instruments and music.
Vocal Technique Ages 7+: Vocal students of all levels will learn to sing with proper technique in a positive and fun environment! The vocal coach will determine the student’s vocal range, ability and style and students will be given the option to explore all genres of music. This class will also learn how to entertain an audience using proper microphone technique and moving on stage. Healthy vocal technique is emphasized by concentrating on the necessary components for a good sound such as breath support, posture, and placement, as well as the importance of song choice.
Musical Review: Students in this class will learn songs from Broadway musicals, as well as work on dance moves and acting skills. Students will learn with fun hands-on experience what it’s like to be in a full spectrum Broadway style musical! From auditioning, scene breakdown, rehearsing, stage movement, and performing on a real stage in front of a live audience, this class covers all the basics while exploring different Musical Productions. At the end of the season the class will put on a Musical Review!
Pop Stars: This class is for our young future Pop Stars who will learn various styles of music from pop, rock, country, and theater. For many, this class is their first opportunity to hold a working microphone and learn introductory vocal technique. This class will also teach students to perform, a skill that can help in many areas while growing up! Students and teachers will pick from a variety of songs to sing as well as vocal exercises to work proper breathing and reinforce staying on pitch. Students will learn how to perform like their favorite Pop Stars on TV! This class is designed for beginner students ages 4-6.
Beginning Acting With Hank Stone: Young students will learn professional acting techniques with an emphasis on developing the imagination and creating original work through age-appropriate games and exercises. Students will work on the fundamentals of improv, audition techniques, cold readings and on-camera techniques for film & television.
On Camera With Hank Stone: This class is designed for Readers who can learn the basics of acting using monologues and scene work while studying the progress of their camera footage. Students will work in front of the camera with scripts learning how to bring Truth to their Character as well as using their Imaginations in creating Roles that bring Life to the Character. Students will also learn audition, cold reading and on-camera technique for film & television.
On The Set: With Hank Stone: Work with industry professionals on film & television acting, script breakdown and understanding the difference between “acting” and true emotional “reacting”, as well as the tech side of movie making. This program is a 5-month commitment and students will play roles in front of and behind the camera, culminating in acting in a short film at the end of the session. Students will learn from professionals from Everest University about what happens behind the camera and will work to improve their acting skills with on-camera work with professional actor, director, and screenwriter, Hank Stone.
Improv: This class introduces students to the fundamentals of improvisation. Through exercises and games, students will learn the basic skills of Improv and have fun developing their spontaneity, playfulness, imagination, and confidence. Improv is an essential skill for any actor, and it’s a useful one for life, as well. No experience necessary.
Adult Acting: This class is designed for adults. It will focus on the fundamentals of the Craft. The class highlights quick and powerful ways to make your performance more natural and spontaneous. Students will also focus on scene study and script analysis. There will be on-camera work throughout the class to allow for significant feedback reviewing footage of each class. Proper auditioning skills will be taught. No experience is necessary.
Intro To Multimedia Production: This class is an overview of the most fundamental sound and video recording concepts, techniques, and technology. The course will provide students with a basic understanding of sound, the equipment that is necessary to capture it, and the processes and tools used to manipulate the recorded sounds and mold them into a finished product. We will discuss microphone choices, various types of recording devices, software, sound processing, and workflow in a variety of recording situations. Classes will be held in a recording studio, so students will have plenty of opportunities to hone their sound engineering & production skills with hands-on recording assignments. Students will learn the basics of video production while learning about studio production (camera’s, lighting, mics etc.). They will also learn the editing process and review footage shot during the course of the class. Students will focus on the use of high definition cameras, storytelling, camera operation, audio, lighting, and digital editing.
Intro To Guitar: This comprehensive, introductory guitar class is designed to teach students the fundamentals necessary to start playing the guitar in a very short period of time, with the intent that each student can learn to play music that interests them in the near future and for years to come. Tuning the guitar, proper left and right hand technique, introduction to music theory, developing listening skills, basic guitar chords, strumming patterns, and basic fingerpicking. The materials and exercises will be taken from contemporary music, custom-tailored for each group of students based on their musical preference, with repertoire from the vast classic rock to modern pop tunes.
